TV Swap Thud Sound

Got the Sonos Ace when it came out. Was able to connect fine to my Arc and eventually my two Beams (Gen 1) in various rooms when they updated the software. Haven’t used my headset in a while and just tried TV Swap and it won’t work.
 

Every time I press the connect button and it makes the searching tone, it just plays a thud sound and reconnects to Bluetooth. I updated to the most recent software. I factory reset the headphones and added them back to my account. Still no luck. Anyone else having this issue and know a fix?  

 

Continue to be disappointed with the new and improved Sonos. Had their system for over a decade and it was simply bulletproof. For the last year it’s been nothing but connection and software issues all the time. Amazing they could screw up such a good thing.

I had this with my Beam (gen 2) I found that re booting the beam solved the issue.
