I have een old tv without bluetooth is it possible to buy some kind of device . So i can use my sonos ace wireless . I have a cheap bluetooth transmitter but won't work. So if it is possible i don't want to spend a lot of money.

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

If you have a Sonos Arc, Beam or Ray, you can connect Ace to it to use the TV Audio Swap feature, where the sound is moved from the soundbar to the headphones at the press of a button.

If you don’t, however, you will likely need to use a Bluetooth transmitter, as you have tried already. I can only really suggest replacing the transmitter you have with another - if it doesn’t work, return it for a refund and try yet another model. I cannot recommend any specific ones, but there may be others in the Community that can - my replying here will get your thread back on to the list of those recently active and hopefully someone can suggest a specific device for you.

You may also want to consider a longer 3.5mm cable if you can’t get a wireless option to work.
