Noise cancellation is barely working when I’m in train or similar noisy place I still hear my surroundings, which is really annoying. In the Sonos app the noise cancellation mode is on  .. can I do sth else or do someone got a similar problem?

I’m sorry to hear you are experiencing issues with noise cancellation on your Sonos Ace.

There are a few troubleshooting steps you can take and I’ll list them below:

  1. Make sure your Sonos Ace is up to date. Have a look on our Support Article Update your Sonos Ace.
  2. Power down the Sonos Ace by pressing the power button for around three seconds. Power the Sonos Ace back up again by holding the button again.
  3. Make sure there is a good seal around your ears when wearing the Sonos Ace. Having the Sonos Ace too loose or too tight may affect the quality of Noise Control modes.
  4. By toggling between the Noise Control modes, can you hear the difference? Try doing that within the Sonos App and also with the Noise Control button on the Sonos Ace.
  5. Force reboot the Sonos Ace by holding the power button for ten seconds.
  6. As a last resort, Factory Reset your Sonos Ace and then test Noise Control after setting the product up again.
