Ace’s Head Tracking

I want to make it sure.

When I am listening to audio in 7.1ch surround, Sony 360 Reality Audio or Dolby Atmos with Head Tracking on, the sound behind me doesn’t come in front of me turning my head or whole body back.

Does it really call head tracking? It’s not I was expected and despaired for. I want to experience a surrounding audio system in my headsets like when I move my head, every settled sound of music fixed in the air. I think that’s special audio really is.

So it doesn’t support sounds from backside?

It supports all formats that are supported by the soundbar, stereo 2.0, DD 5.1, Atmos, etc.

Yes, that is what head tracking does.  It also works with stereo music.

Hi @Wannatt

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear of the issue you are having with TV Audio Swap and Ace headphones.

Yes, as far as I am aware, the sound field should completely reverse if you are facing away from the TV screen.

I recommend you get in touch with our technical support team who have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

I hope they are able to assist.
