Will the google home mini now work with original Sonos Play 1 in the UK
(not the later Sonos One - 1st & 2nd generations)

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. I was preferring to get the Google Mini over the Alexa Dot
due to its better Ai capabilities with general information. However both sales assistants
in John Lewis & Currys were unsure whether it would work with the Play 1 s , as the
new Sonos Ones now came with Alexa built in .
Yet Sonos announced google assistant was now available from July , for all Sonos
speakers ?

Yes, you can use Google Assistant devices like the Mini to control every Sonos player/speaker ever sold, going all the way back to the original ZP100.
