Is this system gonna be fixed soon? As of now absolutely horrible. Last app worked just fine. Decided to do my whole house in Sonos about 15k in speakers ,sub and amps. Nothing but problems last 6 to 8 months.
gonna trash it all !! Can’t take it no more! Love music it’s always on in my house. Never works.
Ive been very patient!! Please help soon!!
You’ve not said what needs fixing, or what your problems are. If they’ve been happening for 8 months it may not be down to the app, especially if it “never works”. But, if it is and based on what you’ve said (and how you’ve said it) I think the answer is likely to be “not soon enough to make you happy”. Will you just trash your system, or try to sell it?
Wow! What a response , do work for Sonos?
its works sometimes, Not sure where to even start.
Speakers connect and unconnected by themselves, Sometimes they’re there sometimes they’re not
I have my sound bar in the basement for some reason will not go over 30 on the volume
The independent volumes for independent speakers does not work. Group volume does not work ?
You skip a song some speakers will play that song. The others will play the previous song.
It will play for a period of time and then just stop playing?
A lot of times it says unable to connect?
hopefully, I can get some answers ?? Can’t really sell it to someone if it dont work ?
Love some help, but not any dumb ass comments

My “dumb ass comment” did prompt you to describe your issues, and someone may be along soon to offer you help. For my part, whilst I have some ideas that I think would help, I worry you might consider them as dumb-ass suggestions. So I’ll wish you luck resolving matters and bow out. And no, I don’t work for Sonos.

I think people have been using Sono Phone app (if you have an IPhone), to get a useable system.
Might be worth a look to keep you going.
I would be livid as well, luckily all my gear is still on S1 (thank god).
Thank you guys for your help ! Hopefully Sonos jumps in ? Maybe I have too many components? Maybe I can go back to the original app? I have had 3 different contractors try to fix this♂️
You may have multiple issues going beside the horrible app, that is hard to determine from afar but some of your issues seem to not be all app related. I have 2 homes full of sonos equipment (amps, ports, 1’s, 3’s, 5’s subs, bars, moves….) and I am extremely unhappy with the current situation. I would suggest you try to break down what is going on step by step. As an example- This is how I discovered the Apple Music issue where my old playlists/albums will not play correctly since last February. If you add an old sonos product to a group (say an old 3 speaker and then add the newer speakers/ amps) the Apple Music playlist will play fine. Also note that Airplay currently work fine.
Try one speaker at a time and then add one at a time, try all your sources and then move on if it works.
The app is horrible and someone above mentioned the Sono phone app- while not perfect it does work and I would also suggest that. The move to a completely new system is hard to do quickly (and pricy) I think it is best to get your system in as best a condition as you can and then move to something else like Room which can use sonos speakers as an end point. This will be my end state.
The best thing that can happen is for Sonos to be taken over by a firm like Apple who have the know how to develope decent software. The bell is now tolling for Sonos. Profit forecasts are down and their shares have taken a hit mostly due to the S2 software issue. If Sonos does not find a way to recover from this situation then most of the users purchases could be rendered worthless.
