I made the mistake of not copying a post, which then flashed with the red bar of moderation when submitting.

I understand the need for anti-spam, unsuitable content protection and it is never 100% accurate, but as an active user is there feedback, via pm or something if it gets rejected or black-holed?

I really don’t feel like typing it all out again.

Sightly tangential the my replies list is missing posts I’ve made which are visible in forum topics.

Occasionally, as I attempt to post, I get “Something went wrong, please try again” and the post is trashed.

Heh, I’ve had that on a few occasions, but usually put that down to my being interrupted/sidetracked and my laptop/tablet going to sleep between when I started writing and when I finally attempt to submit the post 😂

Hi @sigh,

We don’t have a hold system for posts on the community, generally they’ll be picked up automatically by the spam filter if they trigger it, which it looks like your post had done.

I’ve unmarked it as spam so you’ll be able to see it now, no need to type it all out and I gave it a read over (I can see why you wouldn’t want to type it out again). I’m not sure why it was picked up as spam, the length of the post itself maybe. I’ll flag it to the team to see if they can find out what happened.

I assume it was your most recent reply from this thread:

Like @buzz said, there is an issue where sometimes posts are trashed if you’re on the page for too long before posting. This is something that’s been brought to our attention and has also been flagged. If your post in the thread wasn’t the one your talking about then I think it may be lost to the void.

Hi @Jamie A

Many thanks for the explanation and yes, that was the post.

Maybe it was the length, or that I’d made a few to that thread in a shortish time after a couple of quiet days. Spam filters can often be a law unto themselves at time with no obvious reason 😂😁🤣

Every time I forget to select all and copy the forum seems happy to give me a reminder why that is a good idea.

Pretty sure my issue is a timing one as I usually have no issues opening a dozen or more topics and working through them but if I end up digging for a long time looking for an answer the remaining open tabs need a refresh to go back to working properly.
