Not sure how loud most people have their speakers but we generally keep ours between 5 & 10 for music, which is just very difficult to adjust the way the volume sliders work. If the sliders max out at 100 or something, adjusting from 5 to 7 with my human-sized finger is a real challenge

If you go to settings for the speaker, you can set a Volume Limit percent. So if you set it to say 50%, you have much more control. The far right max would then represent 50%.
Tapping sometimes works better than sliding. Also the controller's volume buttons should work.

Touch and hold with your fingertip and then roll it gently left or right. Watch the number so that you know when you’ve adjusted the amount you want, or until your ears tell you the volume is what you want.
