I would love to see a feature in this app that has a volume balance. That is to say, where you can have presets to have different volume balances to create an overall effect of immersion.
Volume Balance with multiple speakers
Usually, the speaker’s ‘room’ balance is set when you last left that room playing. Are you suggesting you want different balance presets for different ‘groups” of rooms?
In my experience, I’ve got groups of rooms already set up with their volumes already. No real need for presets, unless I’m switching the grouping around to include different ‘rooms’.
Volume data, as far as I’m aware, is stored on the speakers themselves, and not in the controller. Where would you store these ‘group’ balances? How many ‘groups’ would be necessary to store, given the maximum number of speakers in a Sonos system is 32?
