Upgrade Offer

The Black Friday discount on an Era 300 is greater than the upgrade offer on one of my existing speakers.  However, because I previously activated the upgrade offer, I’m not able to obtain the Black Friday discount that is available to the general public via the web site and there doesn’t appear to be an option to deactivate the offer.  I can physically go to Best Buy or order through another channel such as Amazon, of course, but this is inconvenient and it feels odd to charge your loyal, existing customers more.  When I contacted customer service via the Chat function they were not able to assist on a timely basis.

The Black Friday offer should be independent of the Upgrade one. Perhaps you have selected the upgrade at the beginning of the process and then the system doesn’t allow you to get the other one. Try again and pay attention to that. If not, you can always buy the Era 300 with a different email account. Or go to Amazon. At least in my country, warranty and conditions are similar. And I found better discounts in Amazon.

When viewing the basket, you have the option to remove any upgrade credit.

The price will then revert to the Black Friday discount.

A bit confusing but I ended up in the same spot, as suggested remove the Upgrade discount and you should get the sale price.

That worked.  Thank you!
