Quite possibly the worst app enhancement I have ever seen. Honestly, quite brutal. Do the developers of such app enhancements even use Sonos in their homes???? By the looks of it, quite doubtful

It is hard to imagine a worse “upgrade”. Today, it cannot play anything. I already copied my entire music collection to a new NAS, in accordance with that new requirement. The Sonos controller can acces it. It built a library representation, but now cannot open that. If I use Folders instead, it can find the files, but fails to play them.

Far from the only problem. Now the web app (which they swear by), can find only 1 of my 7 speakers. The mobile apps (iOS, iPhone and iPad) identify the other speakers, but cannot switch focus to them. They check them in the selection interface, I hit apply, they highlight them, I pick music to play there, then they play it on the earlier selected speaker (which I deselected), and the selection interface shows only that speaker selected, the ones I just selected no longer selected.

This is the worst software I have ever seen anywhere. Software fiascos are not new to Sonos, based on over 5 years of personal experience. But this one raises the bar on dysfunction to a previously unimaginable level.
