Latest firmware and latest version of the Sonos app on Android.

I still routinely have to stop and restart the app to get it to update it’s ‘now playing’ display.  While playing an imported playlist the speakers stop playing after random songs in the playlist.

Unfortunately this is still an awful experience and I can’t get back to simply playing my music as it was before the ‘now not so new’ app was released.

The new app made changes in how things are done on the network,on top of everything else.

With more information about your system someone here might be able to help.

If you wait for the problem, submit a diagnostic and call Sonos support they can likely see the issue and offer a solution.

Sounds like the app is losing the event connection. Try my Android app (see profile).
