I just ordered a Sonos Five with a 30% discount through the upgrade program. The discount was applied at checkout, but my order confirmation doesn’t reflect it, and Sonos has placed a reservation for the full amount on my account.

Is it normal that the authorization shows the full amount, and will the correct (discounted) amount be charged once the payment is finalized?

Call and talk to them.

Thanks, but I live in Denmark, so I don’t think the Sales dep. in the US can do anything about it.
Could be worth a try though, if they don’t reply to my email.

I really appreciate you guys trying to help me and I would never waste your time with this, if I hadn’t already tried emailing and calling the Sonos sales dep. in Denmark.

Like I replied the first time I got this advice four hours ago:
I’ve tried to call Sonos in Denmark several times on the number you’ve shared, but they’re only taking calls if it’s regarding technical issues or if you’re a technician. The robot voice clearly states that the sales team isn’t available for phone calls.

What I’m asking is: Has anyone similar experiences with the Upgrade Discount not being applied?
If yes, was the full amount initially reserved and then withdrawn from your bank account? Or was the full amount initially reserved but then the discount was applied, when the money left your bank account?

Grateful for your feedback on this.

- Below is a screenshot of the checkout showing the 30% discount (that wasn’t applied)

- The second screenshot is the reply I just received from Sonos when asking why my discount wasn’t applied. The reply had an attachment and a text saying:
See the attached document with a total value of 5.088,00  DKK

- The third screenshot is the checkout when I tested if my 30% discount still existed in the system. It did not, only my 15% upgrade discount is left.

I just got an emails from Sonos Denmark and they are refunding the missing discount.
