Sonos Spare Part Policy is disappointing

I recently had issues with my Era 300 and Stands. The screws were worn out after 2 cycles of assembly and disassembly.  For a premium brand where 1 set of Speaker and Stand costs almost 1000€ the policy is super disappinting, a lot of non premium brands are way more consumer friendly.

  • Sonos does not offer replacement parts to order (am I expected to buy the whole stand because a small part is broken?)
  • Installation manual does not provide helpful specs “Black Screws” (say Phillips M5 28mm PH2 Bit)
  • The support is closing the chat before you could ask all your questions

Just a suggestion … try calling Sonos Sales rather than tech support. You may have better luck.

Also, be sure to speak to a person not the chat

Good tip, I actually was sucessfull via Tech Support E-Mail.

After comparing Sonos to other Premium Brands and their policy and adding CEO @ Sonos (not in a “I will tell your boss”, but ‘”is this the brand you want to be?” way) Sonos agreed to send me two new stands for free. This is still more than I asked for but a great solution.
