I upgraded Sonos and it is not working it says it cannot access the music on my computer which I could access prior to this update. (I am on an Apple iMac)
1. I was on hold for over 1h and 15 minutes before I got to speak to someone.
2. After spending more than another 30 minutes on the phone, the support person told me I needed to make sure my iMac was using SMBv2 or v3.  That will fix the problem.
3.  I am now on the phone with Apple and they tell me there should be no problem that Apple Software is compatible with those versions based on the OS version I am running.   They are continuing to help, but it seems like this is a Sonos problem.
4. Apple support tried to help but said this is not a Mac or OS issue it is a Sonos issue
5. I do not want to waste another 2 hours wasting my time, so please tell me how to resolve the issue.

If you are trying to access a Music Library, this is one of several features that are not yet supported on the new app.

It may be functional in mid-June.

After many calls to Sonos 'help' it is clear the company has things round the wrong way. Sonos products are never at fault, all other hardware and software in the world should comply with Sonos requirements.
