I would like to make a feature request:

When an attempt to add an album or track(s) to a Sonos Playlist that already contains that content give a warning as such.  Give the option to add again or not add.

By title alone or finer detail?

I have an 800 some track playlist that probably has 50 tracks of the same title. Almost all wanted.

Worse there are only about seven different artists.

Different albums though so that is unique.

Making it even more confusing, I can't be sure but it looks like a couple tracks with the same name and from the same artist, but on different albums, may be identical. These aren't wanted.

I can see not wanting identical track titles in some situations, in others (live album versus studio) it would be good to have both. Maybe show the track name alone if it is on the same album but add the album titles if they differ?

An additional feature I'd like for playlists is the ability to show the titles in alphabetical order in edit mode. Not rearranging the playlist, just sorting the display so the user can easily clean it up. My main need is for fixing Amazon "top songs" lists where you may get 20 copies of the same song due to Amazon's less than adequate selection process.

I was adding an Apple Music track to a short Sonos Playlist.  Because the playlist was short I decided to add the track then move it to the proper alphabetic location.  When I got to that location the same track was already there.  Sonos doesn’t warn of a duplicate track.

My topic title was not at all descriptive enough.  Tried to edit it after the post.  Not possible I guess.

That’s a feature request for Gainsight, I fear, and a request that has long been ignored.
