Ray with Optical to HDMI convter

Hi ALL 

Can we use Sonos Ray with optical to HDMI Converter  if possible or valuable in the market.

And if yes , then is it ok to use the optical to HDMI converter ? 

And can we use Ray as in surround speaker for Sonos 5.1 setup yes or no ?? 

Please Suggest.

The Sonos Ray does not do HDMI, so there would be no need for a converter. Or do I miss something in your question?

Contrary to rumours the Ray cannot be used as a surround speaker.
