So just got back from a 3 week overseas trip and the app has automatically updated.
I’m sure after using it for a bit it will become easier to use, but a few things to note just from brief use.
- Why the balloon look? It reminds me a lot of when iTunes changed dramatically around 15 years ago and everyone hated it and it was updated within a few months.
- Why does the search bubble have to be so big? Between that and the now playing bubble at the bottom it takes up 1/3 of the screen! Why can’t they just have the search icon in the banner at the top that you click on and it opens the search bubble?
- It would be great to be able to customise the look: i.e change to lists or adjust the size of the icon.
- What has happened to the “line in” option for the play 5? I cant find it anywhere.
Whilst l can see why they want to update to keep up with the times, I just really don’t like the look aesthetically of the new app!
