The latest Sonos App for iOS is terrible.  There was nothing wrong with the previous app and the newest one is impossible to find my music and quickly turn on a station.  This is an epic fail.  It requires too many swipes and searches.  Please don’t change MAC OSx to this.

I couldn’t agree more. Both the iOS app and the mac app are disastrous. I’ve found several issues:

  • The system keeps losing my music library completely. I have to go back and reset the file path over and over again. Each time it takes ages to update the music library (essentially indexing it) which is massively frustrating;
  • There doesn’t seem to be any way of searching my music library in the iOS app;
  • I can’t see a way of setting up playlists in the iOS app;
  • I can’t see a way to reindex my music library from the iOS app. 

If these things are available they are well and truly hidden in a terrible interface. 

This needs serious work as soon as possible. I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone as it stands.

this is simply unbelievable and also unacceptable.

When you launched the new iOS app there was all this sh** going on with the alarm. Now, coming back from a business trip, I started the system, got asked to update before I could commence.

Great, they fixed it, I thought.

Installed it and now NOTHING works anymore!

No more music, not a single note.

Guys, get your homework done. You are about to loose a formerly happy customer 😡
