- I moved from US to Italy. I have had continuing issues try to get my sonos set-up. I have easily spent over 24 hours on getting three speakers on line and getting access to my musice services (Sonos 1, Play 1 and 5).
- I use Alexa voice service, and when I speak, Alexa acknolwedges me, and responds when I ask her to play music, but will not / cannot playback music...no matter how many times I ask.
- One of my speakers (Sonos 1) must be hard-wired connected to the internet rounter or my system will not work - this is frustrating as I do not want a speaker where the modem/rounter is located.
- Do I have to change my address? I understood that I should change my address since I moved from the US to ITA, and using the website I have tried to edit my address in the “My Account” section, but the state and country are grayed out and I cannot edit them.

- Where are you attempting to change your address? After failing, did you call Sonos Support directly to discuss it?
- Have you checked that Alexa is supported in Italy? It may be geo blocked by Amazon based on IP addresses,
- Normally, the Ethernet has to be connected only until you change your Ethernet SSID and password, after that point, the speaker stores the data, assuming the new network conforms with the Sonos Network Requirements.
- This seems to be mostly a rehash of 1, with some additional nuance. Sonos does use that data, amongst, I suspect, other things, to filter what to present you when adding new services. It’s up to you if you feel there is value to doing so. But it could be the resolution to item 2, if there is a mismatch detected in IP being served and location being claimed. It could be perceived by some group that you’re attempting to circumvent various laws. Not sure how, or even if, that statement has a lot of validity, but wanted to throw it out as a possibility.
