how bad had Sonos become

I plead with Sonos engineers not to introduce any new features or products until you can bring back stability to the product.  Please test it in real conditions with normal wifi coverage.  I loved the product 15 years ago.  I believed in it.  Today, I mostly curse it.

Sonos does seem to be more sensitive to network problems since the new app. It would probably help Sonos if you'd describe your problems with the app/software and your wif environment.

Sonos introduced MORE Network Problems when they SHOVED their leased servers between our whole-home-audio system control and the apps that controlled then locally.  It’s just more layers of potential issues and when you see why they did this, it becomes more obvious with their future products where they will need to have FULL cloud-control-interface over our systems.
