Forum Software not marking items as "read"

It's 7:30PM PDT, and I'm doing a run through of unread posts from today. Unfortunately, the software isn't marking them as read when I've actually read them. A few days ago, I ran into an issue similar to this where a day later I was getting posts marked as unread that were older than my last pass through. I'm wondering if there's a possibility of a corruption of the db that stores the data associated with my user name and forum post data.

Cleared cache, deleted all cookies, changed browser, still occurring today. Wonder if it might be associated with some of the folks claiming not to being able to see bold on unread post topics. i.e. is inSided rolling out some beta software to a percentage of users, and it's broken.

Thank you, Bruce. I'll forward it to InSided. 🙂

I noticed issues last night as well around 10:00 EDT. I think it corresponds with when they do their system maintenance... it's early in CET where they are, but it's still "prime time" here in the US, especially on the west coast, so our use of the site is affected.

It also affects the other site as well... I'm sure you can figure out which one I'm talking about. 🙂

Kind of on the same topic, but Sonos doesn't seem to be paying attention to the thread I started, but all topics are marked as read now. There are no bold topics any longer. Is this being fixed?

Speaking as someone who's managed boards and related issues before, if they have issues during an "update/system maintenance", then they're not doing something right. IMHO 🙂
