How bad is everyone’s experience?

Since the ‘new’ app (purely a vehicle for ‘Ace’ essentially) my system is now unusable.

Don’t judge but i use Amz Music for streaming and have:

4 rooms

2 x Arc,

2 x Sub

4 x One

1 x Playbar

2 x Move

All unusable - rooms drop out. Trying to re-link them results in track skipping. I even paid for the Sonophone app - same issue

I’m sure they’re aware.

I hope they are doing something about it.

Let’s remind them that we want action fast.

It’s probably only viewed by a bot, but everyone should complain and detail their issues to:

ceo@sonos.com

(from the support page)

That’s what I’m doing.

Yeah, because the stock drop, the excoriating articles in the tech press, and the thousands of posts here and on social media aren’t enough.  Now we need to flood an email that is read and responded to by some poor underling in the bowels of the support department?

I’ll pass.  I’d rather not take it out on the little guys just trying to do their lousy job.

Seeing as you didn’t have the decency to read the top post of the other thread you replied to, I will take the opportunity to reply to your question of how bad are people’s experiences by saying my experience is just fine thank you.  And if you’re complaining about the app and then saying you are having the same droppouts with Sonophone then it doesn’t take a genius to work out that your problems are not caused by the new app.

I’m sorry to say that I gave up on the Sonos controller when I was trying to update it and then it said that my iPhone didn’t work with that version. I went over to SonoPhone and haven’t had any issues, until very recently (last week) when my Sonos system suddenly went ‘offline’. Sonophone initially couldn’t communicate and, when it did, the only radio stations available were UK based. All the many international stations (Bossa Jazz Brasil, TSF Jazz, CoolCat Radio etc etc) were there in ‘favourites’ but don’t respond.

Anyone have any thoughts?
