Hello Sonos Support Team,

I'm writing to share some feedback regarding my Sonos Era 100 speaker, which I've been enjoying overall, but I'd like to suggest a few improvements that I believe would enhance the listening experience for many users.

1. Next/Previous Navigation for Radio Favorites

Currently, the physical "< >" (skip forward/back) buttons on the Era 100 do not support navigating between favorited radio stations or stations within a Sonos Radio collection. I would love to see this functionality added, so that pressing these buttons while listening to a radio station would move to the next or previous station saved in my Favorites (or within a specific Sonos Radio collection), rather than being limited to track skipping within music playlists/queues only. This would make it much easier to quickly browse through preferred radio stations without needing to pull out a phone and navigate the app.

2. One-Tap Playback for Radio Stations, Playlists, and Songs

At the moment, starting playback of a radio station, playlist, or song often requires multiple taps (selecting the item, then confirming playback). It would greatly improve usability if tapping directly on an icon/thumbnail in the app immediately started playback, reducing friction for quick access to content.

3. Customizable/Preferential Arrangement of Collections and Favorites in the Grid

I would appreciate the ability to manually rearrange the order of items within Collections and Favorites (e.g., drag-and-drop reordering), so that frequently used stations, playlists, or songs can be pinned or prioritized in the grid view, rather than relying solely on the default or alphabetical sorting.

4. Optimized Design for YouTube Music

As a YouTube Music user, I've noticed that the integration and visual presentation within the Sonos app aren't as polished or optimized compared to other supported services. I'd love to see improvements to the YouTube Music interface within the app — including better artwork display, layout consistency, and smoother browsing — to bring it in line with the experience offered for other major streaming services.

5. Compatibility with YouTube Videos

Finally, I'd like to request support for YouTube video playback (audio streaming from YouTube videos, not just YouTube Music). Many users, myself included, often want to play audio content from YouTube videos through their Sonos system, and native compatibility would be a valuable addition.

I believe these improvements could meaningfully enhance the day-to-day usability of the Era 100, and I'd appreciate it if they could be considered for future software or firmware updates.

Thank you for taking the time to review this feedback.

Add to # 3 the ability to rename entries so multiple "Top Songs" could be given useful names.

#4 YouTube Music integration is up to YouTube Music. They wrote the add-in service and really need to step up their game.

#5 YouTube video. Again, this is up to the third party to write the add-in service. Sonos doesn’t write these. They just provide the API and developer support for others to add their service.

Google doesn’t allow audio and video to be split, but YouTube Music still integrates with the YouTube video library, making it possible to play specific YouTube video content via YouTube Music.
