I just received a message from a new account with no posts, Administrator_Jason, offering a free iPad.
The message contains a link that looks like it is from Sonos.com but it is to presentnow.com. This has all the red flags of a scam.
Just a warning to be careful about what you click on, even here.

The accounts involved in sending out messages are all banned and, after making some adjustments on our end, you shouldn’t see any new messages regarding the spam link in this thread.
I'm getting inbox spam from a user named "Administrator_Sawyer".
The spam link looks like sonos dot com slash prize, but it takes you to presentnow dot club slash sonos.
Might be helpful to report the name to the moderators, so they can do something about these scam accounts.

Great to know they’re using the ‘Administrator’ label. ;) Fortunately, Sonos employees rely on the forum software to label them as employees, rather than the name of the account. On the other hand, it might be easy to fool someone who is new to the forum.

The account was registered today also. Most forum software can disallow certain strings like “admin” from being part of a username, that would be a good start!
Scammers are evil people.
I constantly receive “urgent” messages demanding that we reply “now” to pay invoices, renew domain names, and similar. Unfortunately, the account that is attacked cannot buy or renew anything. Links and email addresses given are obviously suspicious. None of my email clients will automatically follow any links. The Scammer will think that I never read the messsage. If they don’t give it up in a couple days, I’ll have my email server block them.

Looks like the AI spam bot needs a bit of tweaking so it checks messages as well as posts.
newly created account named "Administrator_Maddox" (role: Listener, member since 26 June 2026) is sending unsolicited private messages claiming recipients have won a free Apple iPad Air 11. The message displays "Sonos.com/prize" but links to presentnow.club/sonos, which appears to be a phishing site. Please remove the account and warn affected users.
Is it possible to delete the message from the private message box? I am rather new hear and can’t seem to find the option to delete messages. thanks!
