After running the upgrade because of error 913, whenever I tried  to remove a program a dialog box would appear blocking the uninstall. It would appear also when running any system diagnostics After many unsuccessful calls to Sonos, Norton and Microsoft the final recommendation was to reset the computer. I lost all of my paid for software and three days of my life trying to get help before doing so.

Sonos is responsible for this by making profit their main goal releasing untested software with complete disregard for the customer. Shameless.

What upgrade? The Sonos PC app wasn't upgraded, maybe it was en update?

You state: “whenever I tried  to remove a program a dialog box would appear blocking the uninstall." So this not only happen with Sonos (the fact you could not run any system diagnostics also points to this)?

Exactly how did you conclude this is a Sonos problem?

You state: “I lost all of my paid for software”. How? Did you not back up accounts and passwords?

You state: “Sonos is responsible for this by making profit their main goal releasing untested software". How did you reacht this conclusioen? The PC hasn't seen major work for years. Of all the apps it should be the most well tested…..

I just updated the Sonos app on my Windows 10 PC. Went slowly and with the usual fault code to run the update again (which isn’t necessary), but well.
