Question

Alarm function less important than time setting?

I love the Sonos products and I use them every day several times.

But why is the alarm function, which most users use on a daily base, not given more importance?

Several times a day I need to press three buttons to get to the alarm function. Isn‘t the alarm not way more often used than audio compression or the time setting. These are settings which users use once or not at all.

My suggestion for an improvement:

Place the alarm button next to the account and system setting button on the main screen. This would be way more userfriendly, more efficient and users don‘t have to search for the alarm function every day.

Thanks for considering my suggestions.

I’d strongly support this feature request. The alarm button used to be tiny, but on the main screen of the app. Would be great to have it there again (or at a similarly convenient location). Somewhere down in the system settings menu is totally non-intuitive and pretty annoying, if you regularly switch on/off or change alarms. Also I noted that it always takes some time (up to a minute) for all my alarms (around 8) to load with all information. Please have a look at that, too.

Couldn’t more agree with Chris. The alarm button should be on the main screen for easy access.
We use this button at least once a day…

Thanks for the consideration of this request.

The alarm used to be on the main page… until Sonos did not add the function on the new app and then when added it was buried away. I still have it on an old iPhone which I use in the evening and set Alarms and sleep timers. Ironically the old app on an unsupported iPhone works very well.
