Timer for Night Mode

I couldn't be happier with my new Sonos Arc Ultra with Era 100 surround set.

However. The volume gets quite loud and I don't want to wake up my toddler or annoy my neighbours.

Adding a timer function is a MUST HAVE for this device. It's not hard to implement: just turn on night mode every night at 22.00 and turn it of at 06.00. That's it.

I have found dozens of topics on these forums and on Reddit requesting this feature. Please Sonos - add it quickly! This is a must have!

Great to hear you have discovered it’s not hard to implement. You should drop the developers a line to let them know how to do it.

I agree with this - there’s very little use having a Night Mode if you’ve got to faff about in the app for it. They perhaps can’t do it for a technical reason, or perhaps this is a skill issue.

Others have used a 3rd party app to accomplish this.

Beyond Sonos moderators, few and far between, Sonos doesn’t ‘live’ in these community forums. If you want a Sonos response, you need to call Sonos Support to discuss it.

I do like the Sonos hardware. But these kinds of missing features are quite frustrating.

For me it could be very useful that “night mode” or “dialogue enhancement” were switched off when the device (TV) is turned off. I only need them occasionally.

A programming could be a solution if you need it always, but an Auto off could be enough, at least for me. So, write a couple of lines more in this code, please! 😅

The moderators will likely flag this as a feature request so that the developers can look at it and, possibly, add it to their backlog.
