Spotify lossless and Sonos

I have been streaming Spotify on the highest quality music for years.
now with update from Spotify streaming Flac but speakers does not switch from 320K to Flac
I have a Beam and Play3 pair and Play1 pairs in other rooms.
iPhone as a controller.
Do these older Sonos speakers support Spotify Lossless audio?

Is Spotify now streaming in Flac or do I just have to wait until October

Tom’s Guide has an evaluation of SPOTIFY lossless. Note the comment about data downloaded. If your data plan has limits, there could be a surprise after a few hours of listening.

A fair number of my friends, outside big (1000 plus people) cities have limited data, as do the folks like me who until recently had no option for reasonably priced ($50.00 additional per month) unli item plan.

One of many reasons I wish Sonos let me disable any playback rate above CD quality.
