Sonos S1 wont play NTS Radio intermittently

Attempting to play NTS Radio 1 or 2 on the Sonos S1 app only works intermittently. When selecting play, the stop button appears briefly and reverts back.
 

This occurs on all Sonos speakers at home, also after rebooting and re-adding NTS. Trying again after waiting time sometimes works, but there is no pattern. I contacted Sonos Support who are aware of the issue with no timeline. Has anyone else experienced this or has a solution to share?

 

I recommend reporting this to Sonos Support so they are aware of the number of users this impacts and might prioritise a fix

    I’m sorry to hear about this issue you are having with playing NTS Radio on your S1 Sonos system.

    I personally don’t have an S1 system to test with, but getting in touch with support is indeed the best thing to do to get this resolved, and the more people affected who do so, the better!

      Not really, I’m afraid - it may be on us to resolve, or it may be on NTS themselves. If there is an issue with cryptography, it’s possible it is unresolvable - I really don’t know.

      I’d certainly try playback again the next time there is a software update.
