Sonos IOS Controller 80.04.04 Update

Fixed for me using 80.04.04 on my iPad:
Sonos Favorites now shows all of my Favorites not just the first 18 items. It now behaves just like the new Sonos web app. Thank you.

Still an issue for me:
Selecting the Plex Service still “occasionally” times out on the first attempt before returning anything. It generally works on the 2nd attempt. Sonos can you please increase the timeout when waiting for the Plex response. The old Sonos 16.1 app on my iPhone and the new Sonos web app doesn’t have this problem, just the new Sonos IOS app.

I am still choosing to use SonoPad for local music library playback, mainly because the new Sonos app still doesn’t support the A-Z positioning for Artists and Albums which makes it unusable with a large music library containing a lot of Artists/Albums to manually scroll through . Once this issue is fixed, I hope to start using the new Sonos app for everything again.

    Re my issue above with latency issues with Plex within Sonos, just in case it helps anyone else here is part of a response to me from Sonos which may explain why users in the Asia Pacific may be finding the new app laggy at times.

    Since the launch of the new Sonos app, we’ve seen customers in Australia, New Zealand and other parts of the APAC region having latency or delay while navigating the app. This behaviour you’ve encountered while navigating Plex in the Sonos app seems to be related to this issue and we’d like to let you know that we are actively investigating this and do not have an ETA to share.
