Sonos favorites

a few updates ago, I noticed that when I click on certain favorites they play but show no content and there is no FFW RW, or scrub bar. I am seeing this with Apple Music and YouTube Music. If I press and hold and click play now, I get the meta data and transport controls. Anyway to fix this?

I am sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with favorites not showing content properly in the Sonos App.

It is not clear from the context you provided in your thread so allow me to ask a few questions for better understanding.

Are these indeed Sonos favorites or favorites from Apple Music and YouTube Music? Could you share a screenshot of what you are experiencing?

Are you using an android or iOS controller (smartphone/tablet)? Do you have the same outcome if you use a different device?

Does other music content other than favorites work?

A few troubleshooting steps would be:

  • Make sure your Sonos App is running on the latest update. Download the Sonos App.
  • Force-closing the Sonos App and launching it again.
  • Reset the Sonos App and when launched again, tap “Join existing system".

As a last resort you could Submit Diagnostics and contact our Support Team for live troubleshooting.

They have tools at their disposal to provide you with information and advice specific to your Sonos system and what it reports.

Hope this clears things up. Some favorites when I click on them show no meta data and says no content and I am unable to scrub through the song. Others show the meta data and I can scrub through. If I press and hold and click play now on the favorites that say no content, I get the meta data and scrub bar. I am on app version 80.16.32 iOS. This only happens with certain favorites. If I search music from both Apple and Youtube it works fine.

latest app update has fixed this issue for me.
