No system found on network

Hi, I was outside enjoying the music (first time since April) on my Sonos One when all of a sudden after 5 or 6 tracks had played on YTM system not found on the network came up and the music had stopped. After checking, all of my speakers had gone missing. Beam, Arc, Sub, 2 x Ones and a One SL. I tried searching on the update network and it found my Beam and the One SL. Then after I put my TV on the other speakers appeared again. My Arc is wired to my TP Link XE-75 with the others all wireless.

Too bad the static IP addresses didn't help.

Next glitch submit a diagnostic and call Sonos with the number it gives you. We users aren't allowed to see most of the internal data and logs so DYI isn't always possible.

Hi. It might be worth checking whether your router sees your speakers as wired or wireless. If SonosNet is working then I would expect the router to see them as wired.

First thing I would try would be to power off router and all Sonos speakrs, then power back uo in the order router, wired Sonos device, other Sooos devices

Hi John B, Many thanks for your reply and advice.

I have just looked and they are all showing as wired, I’m pretty sure this wasn’t so before I rebooted everything. The Arc is my latest addition, albeit around a year ago so maybe rebooting everything might have fixed it? I have also given them sticky IP addresses to see of that helps.

I have another question regarding my setup. I have the Arc, Sub, One and One SL in my media room. I have the other One outside and Beam in my living area both around 20m away. The One and Beam are around 10m away from each other. I can wire the beam up with Ethernet if needed or isn't it needed?

Depends on whether the Beam is getting a strong WiFi connection. When it’s connected to WiFi check the SNR. Settings (gear icon) - Beam - Network. On the Network screen the SNR will be listed. Anything 45 or larger is good.

ARC and Beam can be wired easily BUT will create a Sonosnet WiFi signal that older Sonos will try to connect to. Save wiring for when it is really needed.

If you do wire you will see a Disable WiFi option, DO NOT as it actually disables the whole radio, the one needed to connect to Surrounds and Subs.

Unfortunately on the app I can’t find SNR , settings - beam - network isn’t there?

Interestingly, everything disappeared again for around 10 seconds whilst trying to find it.
