Unfortunate, then, that Amazon chose to make the changes they did. As near as I can tell, there’s been no change to the SMAPI, the data is still the same, but what changed is Amazon’s willingness to display the data in the Sonos UI.

Here’s Amazon’s xml which defines how this behaves, they call it “ratings-one-button” evidently.

 

TLDR; one button, whose value is 0 or 1, and each state has six graphics to choose from based on the platform.

This bit of the xml used to be much more complicated when they used multiple buttons. I wrote a ton of code to handle it!

​@Sotiris C. there’s also a minor bug in the Amazon SMAPI string table:

The now_playing_heart_(un)selected strings are IMHO wrong. Unselected should be “Add to your..” and Selected should be “Remove from your...” as they are used as tooltips for the buttons in the Desktop apps. Right now they have the same values as the _success strings.
