album artwork showing up intermittently

Anyone have problems like this recently? I had to re-copy and re-index everything recently. Now some albums don’t have artwork. The artwork shows up on my computer in Apple Music, shows up in finder on my SMB server, but does not show up in Sonos controller on iOS or on MacOS.

 I think the best solution is to embed the album art in the tag.  With every system I have experienced I get 100% album art.  The only two rules I had to follow involved BlueSound & MPD ( Music Player Daemon ).  BlueSound requires the album art file to be under 600Kb file size.  MPD requires the file name to be whatever you set it to be in the MPD settings.  I made my MPD file name folder.jpg.  Other systems don’t seem to care how big your album art file is, but I believe if the album art is embedded in the tag data there will be more success getting the album art to show in the control point app.

 When the new Sonos app first came out there were issues with album art not showing in some places.  It was as if the program was not even looking for the album art.  That’s now been fixed.  So now I have 100% album art displayed.
