AirPlay2 not working with Sonos Era speakers and Arc Ultra

Airplay2 from iTunes (Windows) and Roon does not work on Arc Ultra and Era Speakers. (Other Sonos products is working well.)

Playback appears to start, but the seek-bar remains stuck and no sound is produced.

(Factory reset of speakers, and restart router did not work)

After call to Sonos Support they admit a bug of the latest Sonos speakers that come with wifi 6 support. The list of affected devices is:

Era100, Era300, Move2, Arc Ultra

And the problem only exists using Airplay from within Windows iTunes / Apple Music / Roon-app.
Airplay from Apple devices to the mentioned devices works fine.

The Sonos devices are visible as Airplay devices, you can connect to them, audio is playing but there is no sound on the connected Sonos speaker. Switching Airplay to another Sonos (non wifi 6) device immediately plays audio on the selected speaker.

Basically i have a useless system if i can’t airplay. Bottom line not recommending this product at all.

You can AirPlay from an Apple device to Sonos Era-100. Seems its not just Sonos devices affected, as I am also unable to AirPlay from Apple Music on Windows to LG TV, but from Apple device works fine.

I just can confirm this… it seems to be an Apple problem using Airplay via wifi6 from windows.
