I have a Sonos playbar and Sonos 5 speakers. I only hear the playbar and not the speakers. I have the volume all the way for the speakers. What do I need to do to hear the speakers?

Are these Play:5s bonded as surrounds? If so then for music you need to select 'full' mode rather than 'Ambient '.

For TV sound you need to be playing a surround sound audio format.

There are also sliders in the settings to adjust the  relative volume of surrounds to soundbar.

Are the Fives being used as surrounds for the Playbar or are the Fives being used as a separate zone/room? Do you hear any music from the Fives when streaming music?
