Can anyone please tell me what was changed in the S2 App update issued on March 2, 2021 and was there any problems regarding the update ( i.e. dropping speakers, glitches, etc)? Thanks in advance for any answers

From Sonos:

In this update:

  • Added software support for Sonos Roam.

  • The process of updating Sonos Wi-Fi information in the Sonos app has been overhauled and improved. It’s now easier to reconnect your Sonos system to your network if you’ve changed your router or updated your Wi-Fi password.

  • When playing TV audio, the Sonos app now shows the current audio format on the Now Playing screen.

System requirements changes

The Sonos app on iOS 11 and Android 7.0 will no longer receive software updates but can still be used to control commonly-used features.

System requirements

  • Android 8.0 or later
  • iOS 12 or later
  • iPadOS 13 or later
  • macOS 10.11 or later
