New Symfonisk remote incoming?

On the UK IKEA website the Symfonisk controller is showing ‘last chance to buy’

 


Perhaps their making an updated version to go with their new hub?

The remote works with the old tradfri gateway if you need S1

In stock from March 3rd in the UK. No sign of a black version on the website but they do specifically say ‘white’ in the advert so that suggests it’ll be available.

Also, 10 Euros in France, why are we paying £19!!

    Has anyone tried this out yet?

     

    Maybe you can help me, I have philips hue lamps with bridge. Do I need to use an ikea bridge and the philips bridge to get all working or can everything work with 1 bridge/app?

    Yes you will need an IKEA hub.

    If you want 1 hub you may be able to use it with home automation hubs like Hubitat etc.

    I have a beam gen 2 and i would like to Know if the ikea symfonisk controller can connect directly to beam gen 2 throught sonos s2 app or i should need IKEA DIRIGERA bridge?

    Hi @Dimitris Lavdas , you need an IKEA bridge. Apparently the older/cheaper IKEA Tradfri bridge works with it too
