Hi @SubOptimalJedi, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’m sorry to hear about this experience you’re having with Sonos Voice Control.

Currently, Sonos Voice Control (SVC) doesn’t support YouTube Music; the voice command is likely defaulting to the next most-used supported service, which is Spotify in your case. The list of supported services can be found on our support article for Music services that work with SVC. These services are:

  • Sonos Radio
  • Apple Music
  • Amazon Music
  • Deezer
  • Pandora
  • Spotify

YouTube Music may be added in the future to SVC as a supported service, but I don’t have any details I can share on when or if it will be. I can forward this to the relevant teams as a feature request however.

I hope this information helps!
