Transferring music library to a new NAS

I have an old Sonos system which plays my music library stored on a Buffalo NAS.  I have recently purchased a new Assustor NAS and wish to transfer the music library from the Buffalo to the Assustor.  I intended to back up the Buffalo to cloud storage and then restore it to the Assustor, however I cannot find the music library on the Buffalo.  In the Sonos app it is listed as being at //Hs-dhgled4/Music but I cannot see this in the  Windows file manager (I have turned on “show hidden files and I can see my photo folders).  Can anyone help me please?

Saw in your profile you have a Gen 1 Play 5, make sure to set your new NAS up to provide SMB v1 if you are using the S1 Sonos Controller.

I’d call Buffalo CS and ask them, since it isn’t stored by Sonos at all. Sonos merely points to where it is stored by you/other applications.

Unfortunately, I retired my Buffalo device years and years ago, I don’t recall where they stored the data, but I’d certainly be looking for that folder named ‘Music’ , under the assumption that your Buffalo device is named Hs-dhgled4. It is an odd name, certainly, I’m wondering if it never got stored on the Buffalo, and is actually still on a computer named Hs-dhgled4. Which might be why you can’t find it on the Buffalo….
