SONOS app on Macbook w/ Tahoe fails to find Sonos network until Local Network turned off on

Since updating my Macbook Air to Tahoe [now at 26.3.1]  the SONOS app fails to find SONOS on my local network until i open  System Setting>Privacy & Security>Local Network  and then turn the SONOS app setting off and back on. This situation as occurred in with past updates and was eventually patched, but this time it seems to be taking a long time. Any suggestions for something I’m missing on my end?

It’s an issue with Apple’s implementation of local network permissions. You might want to ask them, as Sonos, as near as I can tell, is honoring the settings properly. If you do a search for this on the forums here, you’ll find a previous thread or two.

Appreciate your insights, I searched the forums however my choice of terms was probably poor as little was returned. I’ll try posting on at Apple help and look for a response on their end.

The search function is poor, in my perception, but it has been discussed. I’d be interested in what you find out from Apple.
