My sonos connect amp with serial number: 1508-B8-E9 etc… is not being detected by the application.I havent used for a few years - is there a software application that can be used?
Does anyone have any experience with connecting Sonos Amp:connect devices to Meraki switches? I have just installed four Meraki switches, replacing some old Netgear switches. One switch acts as the core switch and the three other switches are connected via trunk ports. RSTP is enabled, core switch has a priority of 0, other switches are set to 12288, 20480, and 28672. STP guard is not enabled on ports. There are approx 14 Sonos Amp devices on the network with the majority plugged into one of downstream switches. The sonos devices were producing a number of bdpu and loop issues so we disabled the wireless on each sonos device as there is ample cabling. We have also now plugged in the majority of sonos devices into the core switch. We are no longer seeing bdpu or loop alerts but the devices are intermittently disappearing from the sonos controller s1 app (from the rooms view on the app). I have also noticed that I'm unable to ping the devices when this happens but then they suddenly come
I have a ZP80 and a ZP90 which both drop the signal when I’m using the RCA outputs. Both work fine when using the COAX output. I believe this is because the COAX out bypasses the Sonos DAC and instead uses the DAC in my amplifier. My problem is, I want to use one of these with an amp that doesn’t have a DAC (or a COAX input). So, my question is, is there some kind of software update (or reset) that will get these old ZPs working through the RCA outs? I use the S1 controller and have mostly older Sonos gear that all works fine on S1.Alternatively, should I buy an external DAC that I can control from my ZP (use the COAX or Digital outputs) and plug the DAC into my amp using RCA outputs? Or would this be throwing good money away on old gear? Thank you,Scott
Since the last update I have a couple of my Amps that will no longer detect the Sonos speakers. I have factory reset the Amp but still no joy.I have also swapped speakers from amps that are detecting and still unable to trueplay.Anyone else see this?
Can I connect the sonos era 100 to a turnable with the sonos amp? Some one told me in reddit thats not possible? I already ordenes my pair or sonos era.
My Audio-technica MODEL AT-LP60-USB won’t play music out of my arc using the port. I’ve tried everything. Any suggestions?
Can you connect Sonos bluetooth turntable connect to Beam, sub and 2 x Era 300 via Bluetooth?
Why can’t I add a Sonos Sub to a system using a PORT? Will this ever be available?
Hi, So i already have this pair of Era 100 and hang it on the wall. And my friend just bought me record player (Gadhouse Henry’s - no bluetooth built in). so can i connect this Vinyl with additional bluetooth transmitter and play it at my sonos system?
Speaker is connected to Wifi but can’t find it on the Pi 5 sound
Can I Connect turntable to Play 5 and Play 3. is it a case that i need a Connect or Amp! The Play 5 is Gen 1 I therefore need to use S1 controller.
I have 5 Connect Amps, all compatible with S2 app. Unfortunately S2 app sucks, especially for My Music Library. I would like to use the S1 app for My Music, and the S2 for streaming over the same 5 amps. Is this possible?
I am unable to Connect again to Sonos App. Yet again this premium system has failed. We have 3 Play1 and a Beam but myself and my wife cannot control any device from our IPhones. For all the updates, this company still cannot provide a reliable app. I also have an Echo which never fails.
Hi Everyone, I recently received my Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB and Sonos Five, and I’m super excited about them! I ordered both items separately, as well as an RCA to 3.5mm adapter from Amazon, just in case. Some people say it might be included in the SB, while others say it’s not. It turns out that it wasn’t included. I set everything up and was ready to play my first vinyl, but I’m getting a continuous deep buzz through the speaker. I can hear the music, but the buzz is still there, and it’s at all volumes. I’m using the supplied RCA cables with ground tabs on both ends; however, one of the ground tabs is in free air as I’m using the RCA - 3.5mm adapter. I’ve moved the positions and distances between the T1 and the speaker, as well as moved rooms and turned off other devices. But nothing seems to make a difference. I did notice that when I move the tone arm, the buzz does seem to change slightly. Touching it alone doesn’t make a difference, but when it’s moved, it does seem to change, but
Hello Complete novice here! We have just moved into a new home with Sonos speakers in many rooms. There is an AudioVisual cabinet with a patch plug and a lot of ethernet cables. The router is in a different room and cannot be installed in said cabinet, so I am having the router somehow connected to AV cabinet. Once the cabinet is “live”, then I need to buy a network switch and Sonos Amps, install them and get it all connected. The question is - is this switch sufficient to run the Sonos system? I may consider Wireless Access Points in the future (though that seems excessive). TIA!Confused!
I have Sonos Port connected via CO-AX to an A/V Receiver. Three other Sonos speakers, at the corners of a large room, are all within listening radius for each other including the receiver listening to the Port’s output. Regardless of Audio Delay settings the Port is always just a few ms lagging behind the other three perfectly synchronized speakers. While enabling the receiver’s PURE DIRECT mode has reduced some lag, it’s still so present where an artificial reverb is created when the Port participates in playback. Is there anything I can do to mitigate this? Is there a chance there’s a way to reach the development team to request injecting a way to set a delay on “the rest of the Sonos installation” to reduce this reverb effect from the Port’s plus receiver’s output lag?
I have tried multiple times to ensure the password is correct, but the connection still does not establish and there was a problem linking my Sonos (Amp) to my account!Could you please assist me in troubleshooting this issue? It testing a Sonos setup for our new workboat and before installing I set it up on the floor to make sure it all works. The inside is being driven by 1 Amp and 2 Sonos ceiling speakers plus a sub. The Sonos ceiling speakers I just sat on the floor when testing. When I turned the volume up over 40% the speakers made a bad banging sound and the woofer seemed to be going crazy bouncing back in forth. It was the bass but it sounded awful. Once I went to 25% volume the bass sounded normal. I was wondering if this because they need to be in a void to sound correct. I want to know before we go ahead and cut holes in the roof of the boat if this is likely normal because they’re not in an enclosed void or if possible there’s a default. Was surprised how bad they sounded for expensive speakers. Wires were all red to red and black to black, 12 gauge. I have Sonos play 5 etc at home and they sound incredible hence why I pretty disappointed when testing these ceiling speakers on the floor.
il giradischi è un planar p2 quale preamplificatore phono mi consiglieresti di comprare per conneterlo alla cassa 300 era grazie Moderator edit:Google Translate- the turntable is a planar p2 which phono preamplifier would you recommend I buy to connect it to the 300 era speaker thanks
I have a customer with (3) Ports and (1) Amp. Over the weekend they had continuous dropouts making listening impossible. No issues since install and no new devices on the network. The last reboot of the Sonos hardware was 175 days ago. I have done the unplug Sonos units and reboot router and reset them to new to the set them back again multiple times with no luck. I also tried just using a single Sonos Port with the other Sonos products disconnected. Hoping someone else has history with this.I suspect a hardware failure because I battled (3) Ports with the same issue. Did the standard rebooting, restoring to new and setting up again multiple times. Typically audio would work from 1 hour to a day without dropouts and then start. Took (2) Ports out and same thing. After multiple trips customer decided to fold when I recommended the Russound Streamer which has been working perfectly for 8 months. His 34 zone system is (4) Russound MCA-88’s and he would not budge on using anything but Sono
The volume cannot be increased past 15 in one of my rooms that has its own amp and uses ceiling speakers. When I try to increase the volume it automatically adjusts itself down.To avoid confusion, I have no arc or TV in room, not is any other amp in my house tied to this room. It is a standalone amp.
I have just unboxed and connected by pro-ject debut carbon turntable (which I understand has built in pre-amp) to my port.i have zero/low volume until i get to 80+ from my connected speakers (arc and ones) and then I get humming as well. i previously had a cheaper Sony turntable which worked fine under the same set up and have been through every thread on here and nothing working. Just wondered if anybody has come across anything else that might work? Or is time to try my luck with uk customer services?thanks in advance!
Hi,I have 7 sonos speakers and 1 Amp. All are physically connected to an Ethernet port of my switch. All the Plays are in Disable Wifi mode but I can't disable the Wifi for the Sonos Amp, the option is grayed out.Any advice ?
Having a party and switched off all of the speakers except one. When I tried to then add the others back, they showed check marks in the app as if they were connected, but no music playing, and were grayed out. Tried rebooting app, using another iPhone to control, using my MacBook to control. Nothing. Party had to continue with no music. I spent a fortune installing speakers, turntable, soundbar, multiple amps. Am soooo frustrated!
