Connecting bluetooth turntable to Sonos Move and whole system

Hello,

 

I know there might be a way to do it, but I haven’t figured it out yet.

 

I have a Audio Technica bluetooth turntable that I play on my Sonos Move. I have a whole Sonos system in my house (Beam, Sub Mini, 3x Ikea, etc.).

 

I wonder if there is a way to play the turntable everywhere ?

Personally I’d go with the 100 and the line-in adapter rather than Bluetooth if it was possible.

Folks here have tried both and seem to think the Bluetooth v5 found in the Roam SL does a pretty decent job.

So the turntable would be connected to the Era 100 via an auxiliary cable + Sonos Line In Adapter, than it would be grouped with all the other speakers within the App

 

Am i right ?

    Correct.  Also, sound quality would be marginally better if you choose lossless in the Line-In settings.

    Hi

    It appears you have the answer you need to get the best audio connection for your turntable. There has been a lot of back n’ forth and I’m too lazy to read through all of it😊

    One additional point (if not previously addressed) is that using the line-in option your turntable must have a built-in pre-amp; or you must purchase an external pre-amp that fits between it and the Sonos speaker.
