Gen 1 Connect:Amp compatibility

Will the gen 1 connect amp be compatible with the gen 3 sub and arc if used as the surrounds. Will it be compatible if used in a different room to link all together or will it need to be operated with just the s1 app. So I guess what I’m asking is can I still link together on the new app or not.

No. The gen 1 C:A is compatible with S1 only. The Arc and gen 3 Sub are compatible with S2 only.

You are sure the C:A is gen 1?
