Does anyone know how to set the new XBOX One S up for Dolby Digital on a SONOS Playbar connected to a Samsung UHD TV through optical?

I would imagine it's not too different than the original XBox One... I was under the impression that the only major differences are that it supports 4K streaming and 4K Blu-Ray discs... I would think the audio settings would be similar.

See this support article for the steps to change the audio setting on the original XBox One. It might at least point you in the general direction if things are different. And if they are different, please post here the steps so others can benefit!

Connect your Playbar to the Xbox One S and not your TV (unless your TV can output Dolby Digital). In the Xbox Audio Settings switch Optical Audio to Bitstream and select Dolby Digital. Check your Sonos Controller settings to confirm that Dolby Digital is in fact being used. I did this and it works great!
