CONNECT:AMP S2 app compatability

Hi - How can I be sure if my CONNECT:AMP is GEN 1 or 2 and whether it is compatible with the S2 app ?

Go to www.Sonos.com 

Scroll down to the bottom and click on “Manage my account”

Click on Trade Up. 

If your CONNECT:AMP is eligible for trade up (i.e. gen 1), it will show up there.

Note that you can also click on “System” on that same menu bar, and see all your devices that are connected to your account, which will also show you if they’re eligible for upgrading.

Thats great - thanks. Unfortunately it is Gen 1 so not compatible - I am considering adding a Beam to my system but noticed that any new products won’t be compatible with the S1 app - does this mean that I need to try and purchase an “older” BEAM so that I can use  the S! app for my system??

No need to use an older Beam.  All currently sold Sonos devices will work with S1.
