Sonos Desktop controller Unable to load pcdcr.dll please re-install

I have received this error for a couple of days now . Have tried re-install but did not solve the issue. Has anyone else had this error recently and did anyone manage to fix it

Repairing the Microsoft Visual C++ (x86) has worked and now the desktop controller starts without issue.

Just make sure you update the X86 not the x64 which I think I did earlier . Did not check properly

@Mark Duley, Try this:

  1. Uninstall the Win controller
  2. Reboot the computer
  3. Reinstall the controller
