Sonos One - Google assistant

That device is a stand alone speaker, not a multiroom audio system. It's not really a good comparison. I'm not saying there is no reason to be disappointed that it's taken this long to implement, just that you can't claim Sonos has failed because LG and others have Google speakers out there.

Also, there is definitely progress reported. Sonos has stated they will have public beta sometime soon.

Hi,
as i'm now almost having Sonos One speakers for 1 year waiting for a miracle to happen that Alexa will work in Belgium, i'm giving up.
So when is Google assistant coming to Sonos speakers with voice control?
There are competitors like LG ThinQ WK7 that are able to offer a speaker with Google assistant!
Why is Sonos not able to offer the same?
It takes now a year and no progress?
best regards,
DirkIt looks like it won’t be too long to wait ... see these recent media reports:

Just switch the country to eg UK to use the Alexa app. You don't have to wait for the official country support. 😃
