Sonos/Alexa integration

March ‘26 still no further. Wow!

Still can’t get rid of the ‘red stripe’ device offline. Some settings may not be available.. Been ages now. Appalling! Didn’t really need to buy Alexa compatible speakers. Sonos, Alexa owes you a few...!

If anybody has any fixes that aren't online, let me know.

Looks like you are in the Alexa App. We nor Sonos can troubleshoot the Alexa app. Except to have you delete it and reinstall it.

So the questions are…what do you see in the Sonos app? Are all your devices active and can you control them via the Sonos app?

After 10 years of everything working fine, I am getting the same thing.  It looks like Sonos has given up keeping up support for Sonos S1 and Alexa.  Thousands of dollars down the drain either mostly an answer to spend all that again on a new device.  I won’t be upgrading.

I have a Playbar, Sonos One SL (pair), Era 100 (pair). Individually they are great. When I put them in a group it won't do it. Naming issue. I rename it on Sonos, Alex copies it. I can’t change the names to make them different to Sonos because the speakers on Alexa says they're offline when they're not so I can’t click the done button. One person says he fixed the issue by disabling Sonos Skill but then you lose the voice command!!

So the speaker names are the same on both; Sonos Era, Sonos Playbar and Sonos Window (One SL). The group name is Lounge… I’ve once managed to get the Era and One SL to play together but NEVER the Playbar. Are you really saying there's a way round this?

Are you sure the guy didn’t say disable the Sonos Skill then enable it again?
